Born in Kharkiv, 25-year-old Udovychenko is a winner and laureate of eight international competitions, including the V International Jascha Heifetz Competition in Vilnius, where he received the second prize and a special EMCY – European Union of Music Competitions for Youth – award.

Conductor Erki Pehk is celebrated not only as a symphonic and opera conductor but also for his contributions to culture, having been honoured with a state award from Estonia. For many years, he has led the International Pärnu Opera Festival “PromFest,” and has staged several productions at the Estonian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2000, he has led the “21st Century Orchestra” in Tallinn, which performs both contemporary and classical repertoire.

The evening’s program will also feature classical and contemporary music. In addition to the beautiful “Adagietto” by Gustav Mahler and the music by Felix Mendelssohn for Shakespeare’s play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” the audience will enjoy works by the renowned Ukrainian composer Georgii Moroz and the authoritative German composer Karl Amadeus Hartmann.
